The redesign of the homepage was in two phases; the first of which was updating the page to reduce the load time. I coded the body of the page, using the design from another team member, in DIVs with CSS styling to help achieve the desired goal. After phase one was finished the new homepage was tested against the old design, and won hands down. Phase two was another test, and an attempt to remove the majority of the promotions off the homepage onto another promotions page. This second page was also coded by me with the design from the same team member. In the resulting test, the design from phase one beat out the second phase design.
